The beautiful Feudi di San Gregorio vineyards are spread out over lush and gentle hills in Sorbo Serpico, about an hour from Naples and Mount Vesuvius. It's the unique volcanic, sandstone and marly soil of this area that lends the wines their tell-tale aromas of cherry, cinnamon and aniseed. The winery itself has its roots in the ancient varieties and traditions of Campania, but this is by no means an artisan business. Each vineyard is closely monitored with a meteorological station, and the technologies of the new state-of-the-art wine cellar ensures that each vintage comes as close to perfection as possible. Throughout its short yet prolific history, the estate’s proprietors have cultivated Campania’s finest vineyards and worked closely with some of Italy’s best enologists. The results have been remarkable - the
wines of Feudi di San Gregorio meet time and again with stellar reviews and consistently garner international critical acclaim.

Sharing own experience in visiting Italy
On my trip to Italy i hade the luck to visit Feudi di San Gregorio, Campania’s premier
winemaking estate. Situated in the tiny village of Sorbo Serpico in Campania's Irpinia region, this highly-acclaimed winery was established in 1986. Since then, it has aggressively tapped into the enormous potential of Campania's unique terroir and ancient varieties by placing a contemporary spin on indigenous grapes such as Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo and Aglianico.
Feudi di San Gregorio wine estate
During my Italian stay I had a chance to visit the enchanting vineyards of Feudi di San Gregorio wine estate which are spread over the lush hills of Sorbo Serpico, some distance from Naples in Italy. Products from the estate are regarded as regional classics in the area. In fact, the estate's Fiano di Avellino is regarded as one of the best in the region, closely followed by the strong and complex red wine, Taurasi. Feudi di San Gregorio offers one of the widest range of white, red and sparkling wines in the region. If you are visiting southern Italy.
What an experience!
Conclusion:
After all the tour here is the conclusion. My favorite Italian Wine is by no doubt the Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina wine. The wine estate has a well-deserved reputation as one of Campania's most exciting and dynamic wineries, with their focus on innovation and keen eye for quality. Ironically, this forward- thinking estate is located on some of the most ancient wine-producing land in all of Italy; records show wine being made here in this part of the Irpinia region as early as 590 AD.
