One of the best and most enjoyable methods for Google Optimization is through the creation of backlinks, there are many ways to do this and some are far more enjoyable and honest than others. Which is why when you create your profile or leave a comment, the content that you provide must be of value and highly personalized, such that the other readers and of course the site owner know that you are there to help and work with others.
Whilst you may have made a great comment or profile, it will all be for naught if you do not complete the last step correctly. There is the temptation to use an amazingly popular keyword in your link to grab their attention however you must always consider the reader and your reputation. Does this keyword actually represent a theme on your site? If it doesn't and yet you are lucky enough to have people visiting your site, you can be sure that they will mention you in a negative manner somewhere and perhaps even in your own comments. Therefore as in all things do not oversell and raise false expectations.
If you do this, you will quickly see people following your link and making positive comments or profiles on your sites. This genuine flow of traffic is what Google optimization is all about, when they can see genuine traffic flowing along these backlinks these links are validated and of course are worth far more to Google and you.
