Writing an article with unique content can be excruciating, in fact so can writing anything if you don't consider yourself a writer. What I tend to do is just write down in general what I want to say: as is often said, the thing to do is to begin; once begun is half done. Your natural momentum should get you through writing the 350- or whatever number of words you need. Then you have something on paper at least and you can begin to edit it.
Now I want to talk about Bum marketing, which I only heard of recently but which involves churning out a lot of articles to promote a particular product, first getting reasonable dominance on the associated keywords. That way you get first page on Google in as little as two days, according to the original bum marketer. You need to be pretty speedy with your article writing as the person who has most articles usually comes out on top.
Apparently this concept is all around the online community at the moment. As such, it doesn't take long for somebody to start marketing it, and as I've seen online at least one person is doing just that, even though as I understand it that wasn't the intention of the original developer of the concept, Travis Sago.
Bum marketing isn't really that new at all. It is in effect what hard-working article submitters have been doing for years, namely, sitting at their PCs or laptops for hours, doing their research on what they want to write about in order to generate content or filler for their article, researching the products they want to promote as affiliates or the products they have licenses for or have created themselves, research into keywords, and then getting to work writing the articles. Article writing with unique content or filler is more difficult if you attempt to rip off someone else's articles, obviously.
Where bum marketing differs is the focus on dominating keywords and in getting to page one on Google. There is software available that can reduce the time it takes to go about writing articles the old-fashioned way, so you can either have more time to do other things or you can submit more articles. I find that doing the research properly and reading around the subject gives me plenty of fuel to write speedy articles and I don't usually need to worry about content or filler.
