The key to sustainable success is to build an opt in email marketing list, you will most likely be following multiple strategies to do just this. I hope you are doing well but unless you stop and take time to think about how a list creates a sustainable success you will eventually come unstuck, at this point you will realise that all of your efforts have been for nothing.

There are 3 pillars to mass email marketing

The next pillar once you are sure they are reading and acting upon your advice is to introduce your own services. These should be the ones that can help them get to where they want to be and not those with the highest commissions.

Your services may cost normal customers a set fee but it is important that you reward loyalty by providing a discount code for your readers. The last thing you want to do is treat your list as a cash cow, it is made up of individuals with their own hopes and issues and once you adopt this mindset, then you can really begin to engage with them.

The important point to remember that although you have started to ask your readers to spend some money, you are still very much building their trust level, one bad promotion at this point and may never be able to start all over again.

Of course no person can achieve everything they want by doing it all on their own. This is where the third pillar comes into play.

Now that they have some trust in you and your services, they will be more prepared to accept your word when it comes to the services of others.

The aim here and should always be to build up a portfolio of services that is going to help them get to where they want to be.

If there is a service that they need and you cannot provide it then bring in a trusted specialist and fill this gap as soon as you can.

The advantage with this final pillar is that even though you may be taking a commission payment for bringing your specialist new customers, in your readers eyes you have solved yet another element of their problem and they will in their own way thank you for this.
